Topic: Tiny White Bumps in Horses Ears

My horse has tiny little white bumps in both of her ears.
Maybe three or so in each ear.
They arn't really that much of a bump either, they are only slightly raised.

When I google it, I find things like Aural Plaque (“Ear Fungus”)??
But.. it doesn't look like the pictures on the sites...

It's not as bad, or big, or even close to appearence.

Anyone heard of this or what it might be?

I would think aural plaques. They can be all different shapes and sizes. There is nothing much you can do about them, and most of the time they cause the horse no issue.

Re: Tiny White Bumps in Horses Ears

my horses have it too I think! I know what you mean and I believe it's just from bug bites.  I don't know anything about aural plaques, but they have never gotten bigger on my horses and they are fairly small now.

Thank God.
I mean I'd love my girl either way, but some of the pictures look terriable.
And she did live outside before I got her, so she was probably exposed to a lot of bugs!

Thanks to everyone!:)
